🖼️ Canon Efs 18 55Mm Lens Review
Both the lenses i own EFS 18-55mm IS and the EFS 55-250mm IS have a rotating front ring right. So what lens hood should i go for considering these type of lenses because the hood would also rotate and the flower hood might rotate with it causing some vignetting problems etc ? The alternate is the 3 stage collapsible rubber hood.
Alternatively at a slightly lower price there’s the Sigma 135mm f1.8 Art, perfect for more distant portrait work and one of the best lenses we’ve tested; see my Sigma 135mm f1.8 Art review for more details, and also see my Best Canon EF lens guide for more adapted ideas. 17-85mm is a terrible lens. The 15-85 is an awesome lens. Typically people don't do this comparison, they compare the 15-85 to the 17-55mm 2.8 - which are both similar quality lenses (with different strengths and weaknesses).
First announced in August 2004 to coincide with the launch of the EOS 20D, the EF-S 17-85mm F4-5.6 IS USM is Canon’s logical upgrade from the basic 18-55mm kit lens supplied with its APS-C dSLRs. With a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 27-136mm, it covers a decent wideangle to telephoto range, making it a useful ‘walkaround’ lens which will cover a wide range of photographic opportunities
1 day ago · Go to B&H Photo's website. Look for 58mm. UV or clear protective filters. You'll find a variety ranging from $8.99 up to $50.00-plus. You don't need to get an expensive one for your 18-55 lens. Despite what another reply said, either a UV filter or a clear protective filter is fine. A UV filter IS clear.
